Hal Higdon was an iconic marathon runner from The University of Oregon. Without the notoriety of his peer Steve Prefontaine, Mr. Higdon struggled to obtain a recognizable brand. In order to enhance his social media presence within the running community, Mr. Higdon reached out to our Journalism program seeking help with his social media platforms. Through analytics and creative social media engineering, we counseled and created a refined social outreach network. He enjoys more followers and enhanced awareness at this time.
